NRC Radio Broadcast 3- NRC Questions and Answers

This is the third of three NRC broadcasts of a proposal to dig up mine waste from the site of the former Northeast Church Rock Mine and land that waste in a permanent repository on an existing uranium mill residue at the nearby United Nuclear Mill site? ˅. In this program we will answer many of the questions we have heard from the public and the local community over the past few months. Some of these questions relate to the NRC’s draft EIS or our security review; others relate to areas under the jurisdiction of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

If you have any questions about the draft EIS or to obtain copies, please contact the environmental project manager. Ashley Waldron, at [email protected] or 301-415-7317.
